You are seeking to get some funding for a business idea you have and you need to
showcase the basic characteristics of your company through a prototype website.
Please note: The deliverables listed below should be presented in sequence in the
submission of Part B.
1. A mission statement, a Rich Picture and a CATWOE analysis: these will
illustrate the basic stakeholders and delivered in an appropriate format. The
CATWOE analysis should be very brief and no more than 2 lines per element.
2. A Best Practice Analysis: Using the XLS provided separately for website
evaluations, evaluate 3 other websites that are similar to your idea and write a brief
paragraph to say what are the elements that you have considered and applied to
your own website. You can summarise the evaluation of the 3 other websites by
using the categories of Site Design, Content, Navigation & Menu.
3. The Prototype website (no coding required). The website would be developed with
Web 2.0. tools that are available online (e.g. WIX). You will need to provide only the
fully-working URL in the submission (make sure you have backups/screenshots of
the website that you can put in an Appendix), and the URL of the original
template upon which you have conducted your customizations
