2.3.1 Synthesis of graphene oxide(GO)
4 g of graphite powder were mixed with ninety milliliters 90 mL of 98% sulfuric acid and stirred for two hours. Subsequently, potassium permanganate was gradually added to the solution while maintaining the temperature at 20 °C. The solution was further mixed for two hours at 35 °C. Next, one hundred eighty milliliters 180 mL of distilled water were added to the solution while keeping the temperature at 90 °C and stirring continuously. After thirty minutes, twenty milliliters 20 mL of 30% hydrogen peroxide were added. The resulting graphite oxide was washed with three hundred milliliters 300 mL of distilled water. To neutralize the pH of the solution, a 5% hydrochloric acid solution was used in conjunction with distilled water. The mixture was then subjected to repeated centrifugation. Finally, three hundred twenty milliliters 320 mL of water were added to the graphite oxide deposit obtained from the previous step. The mixture was placed under an ultrasonic device for one hour to exfoliate the graphite oxide and convert it into a single layer of graphene oxide[23, 24].
2.3.2 Synthesis of Fe3O4-GO (MG) nanoparticles by hydrothermal method
4.1 gr of graphene oxide was added to 280 ml of ethylene glycol, and the resulting mixture was stirred for 3 h. Then, 0.7 gr of sodium carbonate and 7 gr of iron (III) chloride were added to the solution and stirred for 40 minutes. Next, the prepared solution was transferred to an autoclave and heated at a temperature of 160 degrees Celsius for eight hours. The resulting nanocomposite was washed several times with deionized water and ethanol and then heated in a vacuum oven at 80°C for six hours. Finally, the resulting magnetic oxide graphene nanocomposite (MG) was collected and stored in a desiccator[25, 26].
2.3.3. Synthesis of Fe3O4-GO / ZnO nanoparticles
0.49 gr of zinc nitrate 14 was dispersed in 400 milliliters of deionized water. Then, 1.2 gr of (MG) was added to the resulting mixture, and it was stirred for 2 h using an ultrasonic device. After that, it was mixed for five more hours and placed in a water bath, where the temperature was gradually increased from 90°C to 100°C. Finally, it was heated to a temperature of 600°C for 2 h, resulting in the production of an iron oxide-graphene oxide-zinc nitrate (MGZ) nanocomposite[25, 26].
2.3.4. Synthesis of Fe3O4-GO / ZnO@SiO2
In this step, 2.8 gr of the solid sample obtained in the third step was mixed with 300 ml of deionized water for half an hour to create balance and homogenization, then 14 gr of surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide CTAB was added to the mixture. The pH of the mixture was adjusted to a little higher than 9, then 7 ml of tetraethylortho silane TEOS was added to the mixture with the help of a syringe, the mixture was placed at 40 °C for 20 h, and the final product was washed with water for 3 times and then It was placed at a temperature of 60°C for 24 h to completely dry the nanocomposite[26] .
